Muir Woods Tour Reviews:
Our Muir Woods and Sausalito Tour Review
Our tour with was the highlight of our trip. We book a full day tour to San Francisco Muir Woods and Sausalito .The tour is well organized and yet very spontaneous. We have a wonderful time and had a chance to see everything we'd been looking for. Our tour guide Joseph was knowledgeable, very pleasant and offered lots of suggestions for restaurants and activities to do, we were greatly impressed with all the attention he gave to us, he was courteous, friendly and kind. We left the city feeling that we had a new friend.
What a wonderful trip

Napa Valley wine country and Muir Woods private tour
For our honeymoon , my wife and I hired tours thanks to their excellent tour review on Trip Advisor. Our tour driver (Roberto) is also a Spanish speaking tour guide was on time to pick us up at hour hotel in the Fisherman's wharf in San Francisco. The SUV was very comfortable. The driver was very knowledgeable and super friendly to us. We were glad we didn't drive to Muir woods national monument because the traffic was absolutely terrible there. The redwoods are unique and so tall. We enjoyed the guided tour in the woods with Roberto who obviously knows a lot about trees and wild life. As wine aficionado, we couldn't wait to get to Napa Valley as we both buy Californian wines in Mexico. Our favorite wines are the bold heavy red cabernets. Napa is definitely the perfect place for that. We didn't expect to see so many castles and vineyards in Napa Valley. We had lunch at California culinary institute and visited Castillo di amoroso. We also made a stop at a small boutique winery in Sonoma. They were very friendly and less commercial than Napa but their wine is not what we were looking for.
It's amazing the contrast between the fogy San Francisco and the warm days of Napa Valley. When we got back to the city we couldn't even see the golden gate bridge! Anyway, yes, the tour did meet our expectations and we are very grateful to tours

Our trip to the Yosemite national park and sequoias
After reading about the scenic and windy roads of the Yosemite national park, we decided to hire a private 4x4 SUV to drive us to the Yosemite sequoias and valley from San Francisco. It took us about 4 hours before we got to the park but we made quit few stops on the way to smooth the trip and let our kids walking around so do they don't get bored. The dvd player in the vehicle was useful and our kids kept watching movies and playing video games. This gave us time to focus on talking to the tour guide and taking photos here and there. The Yosemite is far from San Francisco but the park is splendid and worth the trip. I wish we could have more time to spend few days in the park. We took too much time in Los Angeles but then realized that San Francisco is much more interesting than Los Angeles. Well, kids loved the universal studios and Disneyland resort in Anaheim but as far as we are concerned, we loved the colorful architecture and bridges of San Francisco. Jean-Claude, our tour guide was very entreating and assisted us with every request in the course of the trip. We were lucky with the weather and very happy with outcome of the trip to the Yosemite.

"The Best Tour For photographers- you can't beat it!"

We stayed in San Francisco eight days and wound up taking their private SUV tours on three of those days. Our first day was with Adam. We booked for the afternoon thinking that would be enough time to see the city. Fortunately we were wrong.
My wife and I are both serious amateur photographers and since we carry a lot of photographic equipment we thought a private tour would allow us the flexibility to photograph whatever we struck our fancy. Fortunately for us we got Adam as our tour guide. When he discovered our interest in taking pictures he laid out the day for all the best spots for photography. His enthusiasm and knowledge made the day perfect. We got many great pictures of the Golden Gate Bridge, Coit Tower, Lombard Street, and the Cable Cars. In addition he took us to the Palace of Fine Arts which wasn't even on our itinerary. We got some great architectural shots there, again thanks to Adam. We finished the day at the Twin Peaks for sunset shoots and nighttime shots of the city.
We were so impressed with the service we booked another afternoon trip to Sausalito and Muir Woods. Again we got some good pictures of the houseboats in Sausalito as well as the giant redwood in the park.
We decided to book another day with Adam and were not disappointed. We went to Alamo Park and photographed the Painted Ladies, toured the Mission District and Haight Ashbury for photos and ended up with some great nighttime shots of the Bridge. All in all another great day.
If you're planning to take some serious photos while in San Francisco you can beat the service, convenience and just plain fun on this tour. Also, if you just interested in seeing the city this is one of the best ways.

A discovery tour to Lake County wine country and redwood valley
We have visited most of Napa and Sonoma valleys wine growing regions since we moved to San Francisco from New York . Last week, we decided to travel to Lake County wine country. We were lucky to land on this website. Their website is pretty simple but their lake county webpage needs some updates. Anyhow, we hired this tour company who assigned James as our tour guide. We didn't not know what to expect as we have never been in clear and lower lake wineries before. Quite frankly, we were all very pleased with both; our private wine tour to lake county with James and with the wineries we visited. Our favorite wineries were; Steele Wines Inc, Rosa D'Oro Vineyards, Shannon Ridge Vineyards and Winery, Ceago vineyard and gardens ,Gregory Graham vineyard and six sigma's winery. The villa bed and breakfast in Lakeport where we stayed 2 nights was great. The owners are very friendly folks and the views from the rooms are spectacular. We highly recommend this bed and breakfast thanks ti their beautiful views, great service, comfortable rooms and high customer service.
If you guys are looking for some wineries off the beaten path and away from the commercial ones in Napa valley, this would be the right place for you!

Last year, GHT provided a tour through Napa including a balloon ride. That was so much fun that this year, we booked a private tour through Sonoma. Adam was our tour guide and was excellent. He took us to some off-the-path wineries (where he seemed to know everyone) that were very nice, as well as less expensive. We also went by an olive press to get oils. Adam recommended a wonderful Italian restaurant in Sonoma that we would never have located ourselves (Della Santina's, I think). At the end of the day, he took us by UPS to ship some of the wine back, before dropping us at the hotel.
We highly recommend GHT for wine country tours.

enjoyed every minutes of the trip. Out kids had enjoyed interacting with our tour guide who kept answering their questions about movie locations and history of San Fransisco. Peter was very friendly, knowledgeable and entertaining your guide he even bought some bread so out kids enjoyed feeding the birds on the ocean beach and the Golden Gate park. We really appreciate all the efforts of the tour guide in keeping all of us interesting in the history and architecture of San Fransico. The photos stops were perfectly scheduled and offered the great views over the city or the bay. We took much more photos on this trip than we wanted to.
The Goldrn Gate Bridge and Lambardstreet are definitely the best sight of san Fransico.

This has been, and foreseeably will be the highlight of our adventure. What a fantastic day! It was invaluable being escorted by a professional as his connections and friendships at the various wineries gave us a much more enjoyable and efficient experience. A scenic drive to our first destination, wineries in the morning, lunch in Sonoma, wineries in the afternoon and a leisurely snack and stroll in Sausalito finished off by the ferry ride back to SF....What a fantastic day. This will be a staple for any and all future visits to San Francisco or the surrounding valleys.

As a tour leader in charge of convention group tours, I have to acknowledge that this tour operator took care of every aspect and details regarding our San francisco group tours, dinner reservations and ground transportation. I visit many countries and meet with lots of tour guides as part of mission to organize tours and accommodation during conventions for doctors sponsored by pharmaceutical labs but this time, I have to say the staff did meet our expectations and travel needs during our liver diseases convention held in the mascone in San Francisco. Many thanks Amber Ross./ Roche
